New flooring is only as good as the surface below it
Some floors are ready for LVP as soon as the carpet comes up. Others have adhesive residue, damaged areas or low spots that need to be corrected first. We check this at the free measure and list it in your written quote, so there are no surprises on install day.

Leveling vs. flatness
LVP manufacturers specify how flat the floor must be over a measured distance. The right correction depends on the slab or subfloor and what we find on site. We explain what is needed, and why, before you approve the quote.
Why this matters for LVP
Floating floors can flex or show joints if the surface has abrupt changes. Proper preparation helps the planks stay locked together and perform the way the manufacturer intends.
